Sri Sai University, Palampur celebrated National Pharmacy Education Day.
In a series of events aimed at raising awareness of the pharmacy profession and its vital role in healthcare Vice Chancellor Prof. Ashok Sarial recalled the contributions of pharmacists and emphasized the importance of education in achieving excellence in this field.
He emphasised the university commitment to providing students with state-of-the-art facilities to enhance pharmacy education. As many 150 students and faculty members attended the program.
Dr. N.N. Sharma, Pro Vice Chancellor, delved into the history of pharmacy in India and the evolution of pharmacy education. He stressed the importance of a strong industry-academia interface under the theme “ANNVESHAN 2024.”
Dr. Rakesh Sharma, Dean of the Department of Pharmacy, while welcoming chief guest presented outreach activities to showcase the vital role pharmacists in health care system. Pharmacy students gave an account of different items to celebrate the day. Director Students welfare Dr. Ved Parkash Patial, and his team while acknowledging all, expressed thanks for their support to make the program successful.
