Sri Sai University, Palampur Placement Drive Result Out – 18 Students Selected
A placement drive was organized at Sri Sai University campus last month with the help of PVH Arvind Fashion Pvt. Ltd. Company. As many as 230 final year undergraduate and postgraduate students of Sri Sai University as well as students from Government Degree College Baijnath, Government Degree College Palampur, GGDSD College Rajpur, Rajiv Gandhi Engineering and Government College Nagrota Bagwan participated in the drive. The selection process of students was done through group discussion and personal interview. A total of 18 students have been selected in the result declared by the company. Of these 8 students are of Sri Sai University namely Shardha, Pawan, Kanika, Sonali Katoch, Sahil Rana, Anika, Wahida and Manvi, 4 of Government Degree College, Palampur namely Sanchit, Shivnajali Dhiman, Anjali Chauhan and Neeraj, 4 students of Rajiv Gandhi Engineering College and Government College Nagrota namely Yukta, Vishal Bhadwal, Arya Walia and Washul Dhiman while 2 students Pankaj Sharma and Akhil Kapoor from GGDSD College Rajpur were selected. Selected students have received offer letters.
The average package of students ranged from 3.8 to 4.0 lakh per annum. Hon’ble Vice Chancellor Prof. Ashok Sarial congratulated the successful students and wished them for their bright future. He said that apart from its own students, this year the university has also provided an opportunity to students of other colleges to participate in the placement. A similar placement drive will be conducted again in April 2024. He thanked Dr. N.N.Sharma Pro Vice Chancellor, Dr. Zahid Ali, Registrar, Dr. V.P. Patial, Deans Students Welfare, Shri Sulaksha Murgai, Director (Placement) of SSGI Badhani and Dr. O.C. Rana for their cooperation to make the drive successful.
