As we all know that the model code of conduct has been enforced in the country in view of the Lok Sabha elections. In order to conduct free and fair elections and as per the directions of Election commission it is necessary to direct all weapon holders/ owners who come under the jurisdiction of police station Palampur to deposit their weapons at police station Palampur. Therefore , I request to all media (print, electronic and social) persons to publish and aware the weapon holders about the directions to deposit weapons by 01/4/2024. In case of non compliance of directions legal action will be taken as per law.
