Respected Sir,
We, the residents of Neugal Enclave, Palampur are writing to bring down to your urgent attention a critical issue concerning the safety and well-being of people in our locality. Over the past few months, we have been facing a severe problem with a stray dog that has become increasingly aggressive, posing a significant threat to public safety.
This dog has been observed chasing and jumping on people and also bitten 2 individuals. Such incidents have caused not only physical harm but also instilled fear and anxiety among residents, particularly among small children and elderly members of our neighborhood who are more vulnerable to such encounters.
The presence of this aggressive stray dog has disrupted the daily lives of residents, making it hazardous to walk or commute within our locality. Families are fearful of allowing their children to play outside, and older adults are restricted in their ability to go about their daily routines for fear of encountering this animal.
Given these circumstances, we urge the municipality to take immediate action to address this menace. Steps should be taken promptly to capture and remove the stray dog from our neighborhood to prevent any further harm to residents. Additionally, measures to ensure the safety of our community members, such as increased patrolling or the establishment of animal control services in our area, would be greatly appreciated.
We kindly request a prompt response regarding the actions that will be taken to resolve this pressing issue. The safety and peace of mind of our residents should be a top priority, and we trust that the municipality will take swift and effective steps to address this matter.
The stray dog in our colony has again attacked the newspaper delivery man yesterday evening near the temple.

Tri City times has already raised this issue many times but it seems that our system responsible for the safety and security of their citizens is helpless and this may be due to short of financial assistance or resources
