Tremendous Achievement by Himachal Couple: Studied Together, Got Married, and Now Receive International Award
A couple from Himachal Pradesh’s Chamba district has made a remarkable achievement in the field of science, earning an international award for their outstanding contribution. Dr. Subhash Kumar and Dr. Namo Dubey have been honored with the Young Researcher Award in Biotechnology.
The couple, who studied together and later got married, are now working together in the field of science. Dr. Subhash Kumar received the award for Best PhD Thesis, while Dr. Namo Dubey is working as a Postdoctoral Researcher in the Biotechnology department.
The couple expressed their gratitude and stated that they will continue their research at the national and international levels in the fields of science and society.
This achievement is a matter of pride for Himachal Pradesh and reflects the couple’s hard work and dedication.
After receiving this honor, the couple said that they will continue their research in the fields of science and society at the national and international levels. They also expressed their gratitude to Dr. MH Kim, Principal Scientist, CSIR-IHBT, South Korea, for their success.

It is worth noting that Dr. Kumar has received the ICMR-JRF fellowship from New Delhi and Dr. Dubey has received the CSIR-UGC-JRF fellowship from New Delhi for their PhD research.
