Mother’s Touch School recently hosted its much-awaited Annual Day Celebration over two vibrant days, showcasing the incredible talents and creativity of its young students. The event was a perfect blend of culture, learning, and heartfelt emotions, leaving everyone inspired and entertained.
Day 1: Gudiya Ki Shaadi
The pre-primary section brought the theme ‘Gudiya Ki Shaadi’ to life with colourful performances and delightful innocence. The little stars took the audience on a journey through a traditional Indian wedding, starting with Ganesh Vandana, followed by joyful dances on popular Bollywood songs representing key wedding ceremonies such as the Sangeet, Ring Ceremony, Pheras, and the emotional Vidaai. The soulful enactments brought both smiles and tears to the audience.
The chief guest for the day, Dr. Ashutosh Guleri, administrator at Kayakalp Hospital, graced the occasion with his presence. Distinguished guests were honoured for their contributions, and the school principal, Mrs. Brindula Karol, presented awards to both parents and students. Parents were specially recognized for their enthusiastic participation in various school activities and competitions throughout the year.
Day 2: The Power of Possibilities
The second day belonged to the primary section, with the inspiring theme ‘The Power of Possibilities’. The day began with great enthusiasm and energy, with Shradhay Guru Amar Jyoti ji from Mahaavtaar Babaji Meditation Center Kandwari as the chief guest and Dr. N.K. Kalia, proud father of Amar Shaheed Capt. Saurabh Kalia, as the guest of honour.
The event featured mesmerizing performances, including a patriotic dance that filled the hall with pride and passion, a beautifully choreographed act where sculptor dreamt about sculptures coming to life and performed to classical music, and a stunning presentation by First-grade students showcasing the five elements of nature.
Adding to the cultural richness, students performed traditional dances representing the vibrant cultures of Haryana and Punjab. The Radhakrishna Raasleela performance was a highlight, as the hall echoed with the soulful chants of ‘Jai Jai Shaam’.
The grand finale of the evening was the ‘Rainbow Fish Musical,’ an enchanting English musical performance based on the popular children’s book ‘The Rainbow Fish.’ Through captivating music and expressive storytelling, the students delivered a powerful message about kindness, empathy, and friendship.
The event concluded with awards presented to students for their academic excellence and outstanding performances.
The two-day celebration not only highlighted the students’ talents but also reinforced essential values of teamwork, empathy, and perseverance. It was truly a memorable event, leaving the audience with hearts full of joy and inspiration.
