154 Grams of Charas Recovered from Tenant’s Room in Palampur, Police Arrest the Accused
Palampur: Acting on a secret tip-off, the police conducted a raid on Tuesday at a rented room in Nihang Tikka, Palampur, located on College Road. During the raid, 154 grams of charas were recovered from the room. The accused, identified as Ajay Kumar (26), was residing as a tenant in the area. He hails from Barram village in Jaisinghpur Tehsil, Kangra District, Himachal Pradesh.
A case has been registered against Ajay Kumar under Section 20 of the ND&PS Act. The Station House Officer (SHO) stated that Ajay Kumar was involved in the illegal business of selling charas to college students. Further investigation is underway.
