Sood Sabha Chandigarh Celebrates 76th Republic Day with Patriotic Fervor
Chandigarh, January 26, 2025:
Sood Sabha Chandigarh marked the 76th Republic Day with great enthusiasm and patriotism at Sood Bhawan, Sector 44-A, Chandigarh. The event commenced with the unfurling of the national flag by Shri Mohit Sood, President of Grain Market, Sector 26, Chandigarh, amidst the presence of distinguished members and residents.
Prominent attendees included Sh. Ashwani Sood, President of Sood Sabha Chandigarh; Sh. Sudhir Sood, General Secretary; Sh. Khushvinder Sood, Finance Secretary; and Shri Sachin Sood, Press Secretary of Sood Sabha Chandigarh. Residents of Sector 10 Panchkula, Sector 44 Chandigarh, and members of the RWA Sector 44-A also joined the celebrations.
In his address to the media, Shri Sachin Sood highlighted the significance of Republic Day, recalling the sacrifices of the brave freedom fighters who laid down their lives for India’s independence. He also paid homage to Dr. B.R. Ambedkar, the architect of the Indian Constitution, which came into effect 75 years ago on this day. “The Constitution not only grants every citizen the right to vote but also ensures equal rights and opportunities to all, irrespective of caste, gender, or religion,” he said.
The event was filled with patriotic zeal as members reflected on India’s journey as a republic and its progress over the years. Joint Press Secretary Mukesh Sood shared that such events strengthen unity and instill pride among community members. 
The program concluded with the singing of the national anthem and a pledge to uphold the values enshrined in the Constitution. The Sood Sabha Chandigarh continues to inspire the community with its commitment to national and social causes.
