New Executive Body of Pensioners Sabha Elected at CSK HPKV, Palampur

After a long gap of several years, the elections of the Pensioners Sabha at Chaudhary Sarwan Kumar Himachal Pradesh Krishi Vishvavidyalaya (CSK HPKV), Palampur were successfully held, and the new office bearers were elected unopposed.
The following office bearers were elected to the new executive body of the Pensioners Sabha:
Dr. S. P. Sharma – President
Sh. Rajender Singh – Vice President
Dr. S. K. Upadhyay – General Secretary
Sh. Varinder Katoch – Cashier
Sh. J. P. Thakur – Joint Secretary
It is worth mentioning that the elections of the Pensioners Sabha had been pending for a long time. The smooth and unopposed election reflects unity and consensus among the pensioners.
The pensioners have expressed hope that the newly elected Pensioners Sabha will effectively safeguard the interests of pensioners and take up their long-pending demands on a priority basis. They expect the Sabha to initiate early dialogue with the university administration and the state government, wherever required, to ensure speedy resolution of all pending issues.
Pensioners have particularly demanded the immediate release of pending medical reimbursement bills, stating that such payments should not be delayed further.
Former leader of the Himachal Pradesh NGO Union,  Ghanshyam Sharma, also congratulated the newly elected Pensioners Sabha and extended his best wishes for a successful tenure.
