Palampur:  TricityTimes news: After nearly 30 months of prolonged wait, the process for the appointment of a regular Vice-Chancellor at Chaudhry Sarwan Kumar Himachal Pradesh Krishi Vishvavidyalaya has finally been initiated. The development is being seen as a significant step toward restoring stable and long-term leadership at the prestigious agricultural university.
    For over two and a half years, the absence of a regular Vice-Chancellor had impacted several administrative and policy-level decisions. While routine academic work continued, many long-term strategic initiatives, research expansions, and institutional reforms awaited permanent leadership.
    With the appointment process now underway, students, faculty members, scientists, and non-teaching staff have expressed optimism and renewed confidence. The university community believes that a regular Vice-Chancellor will bring administrative stability, faster decision-making, improved coordination, and a stronger push for research, innovation, and academic excellence.

He added that both teaching and non-teaching staff, along with students and scientists, are hopeful that the new leadership will bring efficiency, transparency, and renewed momentum to the institution’s progress.
