“Tragedy Strikes Hathras: Stampede at Religious Event Claims Over 100 Lives
Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has extended his condolences to the families of the victims who lost their lives in a devastating stampede at a religious event in Hathras district. The incident has left over 50 people dead and many more injured.
CM Yogi Adityanath has instructed officials to provide immediate relief measures and ensure proper medical treatment for the injured. He has also ordered an investigation into the incident, to be led by the ADG Agra and Commissioner Aligarh, to determine the causes of the tragedy.”
District Magistrate (DM) Ashish Kumar provided updates on the situation, saying, “The district administration is investigating the matter. The injured are being taken to the hospital, and people are still being recovered. A figure of nearly 50-60 deaths has been reported to me by the doctors.”
