Robbery :*jewelery and cash worth lakhs of rupees looted,robbery took place in Shivjot Enclave Kharar*
Two robbers entered the house in Kharar, Mohali, tied the hands and mouth of a lonely elderly woman and looted jewelery and cash worth lakhs of rupees kept in the house and ran away. The woman’s son is a choreographer.
The incident took place on Monday at around 9.00 pm,the top floor of flat number 39 near gate number 3 of Shivjot Enclave. The miscreants have taken away about 25 tola gold ornaments and five lakh rupees from the house. Police have registered a case on the complaint of choreographer Rajneesh and started investigation.
The people living there are extremely scared due to the incident that took place in the densely populated area of Shivjot Enclave. Police personnel including Kharar’s DSP Karan Singh Sandhu, City Police’s SBJO Mandeep Singh inspected the spot late on Tuesday evening. Rajneesh’s wife has also reached there after the information. Whereas Rajneesh has sent Hari and the frightened mother to Hoshiarpur home. Police have registered the case and started investigation.
He thinks the robbers were known to the family. He knocked on the door of Rajneesh’s house just 5 minutes after his departure and claimed that his mother was Rajneesh’s acquaintance.
