*URGENT CALL TO ACTION: MUNICIPAL COUNCIL KHARAR MUST TACKLE STRAY DOG MENACE*

Mohali, Punjab – Residents of SBP COD Sector 116 and Lifestyle Residency are living in fear due to the escalating stray dog menace. Innocent children are particularly vulnerable, with multiple incidents reported in the past 48 hours.

*DISTURBING INCIDENTS*

Rohit Sethi, a concerned parent, and President RWA,shared his harrowing experience: “My child has been chased by stray dogs three times in the last two days. Fortunately, residents intervened, preventing bites. However, my child was left traumatized, crying uncontrollably.”

*RESIDENTS DEMAND ACTION*

The community is urging the Municipal Council Kharar to take immediate measures to control the stray dog population. “The situation is deteriorating daily,” said a resident. “Children can’t play in parks or move freely. Who will be responsible if a tragic incident occurs?”

1. Immediate stray dog catching and sterilization drives
2. Increased patrolling in residential areas
3. Installation of dog shelters
4. Community awareness programs
5. Accountability from local authorities
