*Rayat-Bahra Group of Institutes, Hoshiarpur (Punjab) visited CSIR-IHBT, Palampur on 21st April, 2022*

A group of 27 undergraduate students (Department of Hospitality) along with 3 faculty members from Rayat-Bahra Group of Institutes, Hoshiarpur (Punjab) visited CSIR-IHBT, Palampur on 21st April, 2022.

They visited different facilities and interacted with the scientists, students and staff members of the Institute.

The team also visited the proposed farmer’s field for Lilium, Gladiolus and Tulips at Leh and Kargil which is to be distributed under CSIR Floriculture mission by CSIR-IHBT Palampur.

The team also appraised Mr. Saugat Biswas, Secretary/ Divisional Commissioner, about mission activities in Ladakh (UT). He also suggested CSIR-IHBT team and DIC, Ladakh to conduct a workshop on Mission Floriculture so that farmers from both districts can be benefitted.
