Safer Campuses, Secure Students, Stronger Partnerships
An important interaction was chaired by the Director General of Police, Himachal Pradesh, with senior IPS officers and Vice-Chancellors of private universities across the state. The meeting focused on strengthening campus safety, student security and effective coordination between universities and the Police Department.
Prof. H. K. Chaudhary, Vice-Chancellor of Abhilashi University, shared valuable views on campus safety, student security, grievance redressal, mental health and student welfare. He stressed the need for proactive and continuous coordination between universities and the Police Department.
Having served as Vice-Chancellor in both public and private universities over the past five years, Prof. Chaudhary said that such active and constructive coordination between the Police and universities is rarely seen. He sincerely appreciated and saluted the Himachal Pradesh Police for this commendable initiative.
Prof. H. K. Chaudhary was widely appreciated for his insightful contribution, visionary leadership and deep commitment to student welfare. His emphasis on a safe, supportive and student-friendly campus environment reflected his long-standing dedication to quality higher education and the holistic development of students.
