Vice-Chancellor Prof. H K Chaudhary proceeded on his official visit to United Kingdom under National Agriculture Higher Education Programme of the Indian Council of Agricultural Research and landed there today evening.The Vice-Chancellor will visit the University of Leicester and other institutes and departments to have interactions with the authorities of these institutions on:
-Innovative Indo-UK joint research collaborative projects;
-Faculty and Students Exchange Programmes;
-to explore possibility of collaboration in other areas of research and academic in Agricultural Science and funding via fellowships and
– to visit and identify premier laboratories for undertaking cutting edge research in Agricultural Science,etc.
He will return to campus on 22 July.
As per the orders of Hon’ble Governor and Chancellor of the University,Dr. Mandeep Sharma, Professor (Vety. Microbiology) and presently acting as Dean, Dr. G C Negi College of Veterinary and Animal Sciences will hold the charge of the post of Vice-Chancellor in addition to his own duties during the foreign visit of Vice-Chancellor Prof H.K.Chaudhary.
