I am a journalist by profession and always wanted to be one. Fashion was always intriguing to me and clubbing both my passion and interest was a double delight. I studied Mass Communication from Manipal Institute of Communication and then got to know the world of journalism and lifestyle. I started being a Lifestyle reporter with Bangalore Mirror and moved on to being a TV anchor with News 9. After a long stint with TV, it was time to explore the digital world. That is when Nevanta happened and it was a great shift to join an-all women’s team as Managing Editor. And my love for fashion, cinema and lifestyle continues…with a bang!
It was my dream to walk the ramp one day, and experience how is it to be on the other side. Mrs International Super Queens 2023 gave me this platform, thanks to Veena Jain, National director of the pageant.

3)tct *You know both worlds,, fashion and media- how different are they?
I believe fashion is something that happens to you, and media is what you make out of it to exhibit your fashion sense. Covering fashion for various brands/ labels and popular actors, makes you be upbeat with it. From being a journalist to now a pageant title holder, I feel blessed to be a part of both. I see a lot of journalists are making an impression with their fashion choices.

Your fashion style statements*?
It’s something that expresses who you are in your own way.
Fashion for me is something that defines you as a personality, and not something you see on others and add to your collection.
For day, I like to wear a breezy and comfortable dress and match it with subtle jewellery
Night is all about putting your fashion foot forward, and thus my go-to is an LBD or slit gowns
Power dressing is what I have been experimenting with a lot off late. And I think, its a must in any woman’s wardrobe
I love the white kajal trend and I am completely smitten by it 🙂
Going further, I believe fashion is never constant so keep upgrading your fashion game.
