October 2, 2024:Palampur,: Himachal Pradesh – St. Paul School, Palampur, observed Interfaith Harmony Day on October 2, 2024, to promote unity and mutual respect among students, teachers, and guests. The event coincided with Mahatma Gandhi’s birthday, celebrating his principles of non-violence and tolerance.
Ashish Butail, local MLA and Chief parliamentary secretary to the government of Himachal Pradesh participated as chief guest.He praised St. Paul School’s inclusive environment, emphasizing the importance of national unity. “We must not divide our country based on caste, creed, or religion. We are all Indians, and we must honor those who sacrificed their lives for our nation.”

Students showcased their understanding of four major religions – Hinduism, Christianity, Sikhism, and Islam – by reciting sacred verses from Bhagavad Gita, Bible, Guru Granth Sahib, and Quran. They highlighted key teachings from each faith, promoting unity and harmony.
