Rotary Club Palampur Delegation Meets the Dalai Lama, Inspired by His Message of Compassion
Blessings in Dharamshala leave members spiritually enriched and motivated
A delegation from the Rotary Club Palampur had the privilege of seeking blessings from His Holiness the 14th Dalai Lama in Dharamshala yesterday. The visit was marked by deep reverence, gratitude, and a sense of spiritual fulfillment as members paid their respects and briefly interacted with His Holiness.
The delegation was led by Rtn. Ajay Sood, President of Rotary Club Palampur, along with Rtn. Raghav Sharma, Secretary, and Rtn. Rishi Sangrai, Assistant Governor. On this auspicious occasion, they presented a token of respect as a gesture of admiration and deep regard.
During the interaction, one of the Dalai Lama’s core principles—compassion—stood out prominently. He has consistently emphasized that compassion and kindness are the foundation of humanity and essential for building a peaceful and harmonious world. The delegation members expressed their resolve to incorporate this guiding principle into their social and humanitarian efforts.
