Palampur/Kangra: It is a proud and historic moment for Himachal Pradesh as Dr. Anshul Goel, renowned Rheumatologist from Kangra, has achieved international recognition. His academic research survey has been officially accepted for presentation at the prestigious APLR Congress (Asia Pacific League of Associations for Rheumatology), which will be held in Fukuoka, Japan next month. Dr. Goel has received an invitation from Japan to present his pioneering work at this global platform, marking the first-ever international presentation from Himachal in the field of Rheumatology.

APLR, headquartered in Australia, is one of the largest and most respected organizations of Rheumatology worldwide. Its annual congress is hosted by different countries each year and serves as a forum for presenting the latest developments, research innovations, and therapeutic advances in Rheumatology. Thousands of doctors and researchers from across the globe submit their work, but only a select few are chosen for presentation. Dr. Goel’s acceptance is therefore a significant honor, both for Himachal Pradesh and for India.

Dr. Goel’s research focuses on the role of Platelet Rich Plasma (PRP) in the treatment of various pain disorders.
