CHIEF OF THE ARMY STAFF
General Manoj Mukund Naravane is most likely to be the new CDS (Chief of Defence Staff) after the untimely and unfortunate death of our first CDS General Bipan Ravat in helicopter crash which created a vacuum difficult to be filled. But the show must go on and General Naravane is equally competent to carry forward the vision of modernisation of armed forces with the integration of three wings of armed forces under United command to achieve the ultimate goal of building indian armed forces one of the greatest and modern armed forces of the world. Given our disputed borders with our two hostile neighbours, capability development of our armed forces remains a national imperative.
